Start with the preset

The Reezn APK equalizer ships with presets for a reason: most ears are happiest picking one and stopping. In the audio settings, try the presets while a familiar scene plays. Movie dialogue usually wants the "Vocal" or "Treble" lean; music wants whatever flatters the genre.

Dialogue clarity: the 90% fix

Muddy dialogue is the most common complaint and the easiest fix. Nudge the midrange bands (around 1-4 kHz) up a couple of notches and pull the deep bass down slightly. Explosions stay punchy while voices cut through. This single adjustment fixes more "bad audio" than any other.

Bass: less is more on phones

Phone speakers physically cannot reproduce deep bass, so cranking the low bands just distorts. On the phone speaker, keep bass near flat. On headphones or a Bluetooth speaker, you have headroom: raise lows modestly and listen for distortion at high volume.

The audio output toggle

Buried in playback settings is the output mode switch, and it matters more than the EQ for one specific problem: files with no sound. If a video plays silently, toggle this before touching anything else. It routes audio through a different path that some codecs require.

Volume quirks

Two quick ones: the two-finger tap mutes instantly (great for calls), and if one file is much quieter than the rest, that is the file's mastering, not the app. Normalize expectations, not just volume.
